Elaine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a graduate degree from George Mason University. She has worked with adults of all ages at Inova’s psychiatric emergency services, intensive outpatient services for addiction, and the partial hospitalization program for mental health. Her experience with hospice included working with older adults in long-term care facilities. Elaine believes there is hope and light beyond difficult circumstances and helps clients discover positive possibilities that can lead to healing and wholeness. She assists clients to re-engage in life by helping them live in the present, relate differently to their thoughts and feelings, and take action towards what matters in their lives.
