I am the Social Media Consultant for OAC. I am grateful to be able to utilize my social work background to conduct research in order to provide information, resources and support through our social media platforms for OAC’s clientele. I received my Bachelors of Social Work from Radford University (2018) and my Masters of Social Work from George Mason University (2020) with a clinical focus on family therapy and trauma and recovery. 

Throughout my career thus far, I have primarily focused on working with children and families in public school settings, charter school settings and a therapeutic day school program. I also had an opportunity to intern at a therapeutic foster care agency working with children, foster parents, birth parents and Unaccompanied Refugee Minors in the Roanoke, VA area focused on highlighting a trauma-informed perspective. 

I am currently a stay-at-home mom raising our 1 year old son and our amazing 8 year old border collie mix, Marley.
