Maria has an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University and became an LCSW in 2015. She has provided family counseling at Ft Belvoir Hospital and has worked with adults of all ages in her work with Capital Caring Health. She has experience working with residents of long term care facilities, as well as older adults who live at home. Maria values the importance of the client/therapist relationship and uses a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to helping clients. Maria offers telehealth and limited home visits in the Clifton/Centreville area.
